Here at The Stranded Stitch we try not to take ourselves too seriously. We are strong proponents of taking some me-time. We like sitting by the pool better than sitting in an office, and we always answer ‘yes’ when asked if we want to see the dessert menu.

The Stranded Stitch designs embody our easygoing spirit. Cross stitching is a great activity to unwind with! Relieve your stress, indulge your creativity, and make a cool piece of art. This binge-worthy craft project is perfect for keeping your hands busy during movie marathons, long plane rides, and while you’re lounging at the beach.

Natalie Naito (she/her) is a habitual crafter in Los Angeles, CA. Always looking for her next DIY project, Natalie discovered cross stitching while in college. She conceived of The Stranded Stitch shortly after graduating and has been growing her collection of irreverent cross stitch designs ever since. 

A fellow lover of all things crafty and cross stitch, Andria Hopkins (she/her) joined The Stranded Stitch team in 2019 as the secret sauce behind the scenes. After Natalie had twins she was ready to pass the baton to Andria full time, and Andria became the owner of The Stranded Stitch in 2023. Natalie still makes her mark by contributing to some of your favorite cross stitch designs, but as she focuses on motherhood, Andria is excited to take over the day-to-day operations and bring you more fun and feisty kits to relax and be creative with! We’re excited for this next chapter, and to keep spreading the cross stitch love to each and every one! ;)
